Discover Thailand’s underwater world.

Thailand’s waters are a tropical haven and rich in marine life. As well as some of South East Asia’s best preserved coral reefs, Thailand offers countless species of marine animals – from colourful reef fish to the gentle Whale Shark – and also a number of shipwrecks for more experienced divers.

Outstanding Marine Environments

Thailand’s rich waters are a diver’s paradise and provide ample opportunities to see a wide variety of marine life and coral reefs. Ahead of its time, Thailand early on saw the importance of protecting its marine biodiversity and there are now 22 marine national parks where fishes and reefs are protected from fisheries. Below is a selection of our favourite animals that can be encountered on a diving trip or a liveaboard experience on Thailand’s waters.
