Palm fringed beaches, coral reefs and 5-star resorts, the Gulf of Thailand is a captain’s paradise with three major-cruising regions.

Central to the Gulf of Thailand’s marine industry is Ocean Marina Jomtien and has witnessed a rapid growth in related businesses, from marine engineering and services to charter companies, marinas and berthing to rigging, sail-making and repairs.

Tourism demand is dominated by Koh Samui, with its luxury resorts, tropical beaches and vibrant nightlife, the region also attracts sailors and visitors to the famous Ang Thong Marine Park, characterised by hundreds of soaring limestone formations. To the north, the Koh Chang Archipelago offers incredible natural beauty far from the madding crowd.

In recent years, the Gulf of Thailand’s geographical position, stunning scenery and rapidly developing yachting infrastructure has made it one of Asia’s major marine tourism destinations. The region is receiving an increasing number of enquiries from international yachts who wish to berth themselves in Pattaya, whilst more and more charter companies are opening to help both local and international tourists discover the Gulf of Thailand.
